From my tiny cabin near Finland, Minnesota, I celebrate the colors and textures of Lake Superior’s seasons. After over 30 years of design work, yarn has become my palette. I design and knit what

A MINNESOTA HUG
While I usually have just one sale a year, I couldn't resist the invitation to join Julebyen! I've kept my Norwegian hands busy making colorful, modern hats as well as more snuggly neck cowls. And if you love big statement wraps... I've got you covered!
My friend and exceptional painter, David Gilsvik, will also be at Julebyen. We shared space at his historic log cabin for this year's 20/20 Art Tour. See his newest paintings!
ONLY 2 DAYS!
Julebyen (pronounced YOOL-eh-BE-en)
means "Christmas Village". It is a centuries-old Scandinavian and German tradition celebrated with ethnic foods, crafts, holiday decorations, and music. Knife River (a fishing village of the North Shore of Lake Superior just north of Duluth) is home to an authentic, and unique Julebyen fest.
At Julebyen you will find an Outdoor Market with foods and unique, hand-made gifts by local artisans, an Indoor Bazaar with hand-
crafted decorations for your home, Troll Village (that's where I'll be!) with an assortment of exciting things to see and people to meet. Admission is FREE! CLICK HERE for details!
